Old batteries do not belong in household waste. You can return used batteries free of charge at our shipping depot. You are legally obliged as a consumer to return used batteries.
Contaminated batteries are marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal that determines its classification as pollutant:
"Cd" stands for cadmium.
"Hg" stands for mercury.
"Pb" stands for lead.
